Bell Ville, como integrante de la Red Argentina de Municipios frente Cambio Climático, envió un video explicativo a la Plataforma Internacional de Reporte CDP para el curso “Clima y Políticas Públicas” que dicho organismo está elaborando para la base de la línea de Ciudades y Liderazgo Climático.
La RAMCC propuso a nuestro municipio para desarrollar el Plan de Usos y Manejo del Parque Tau, enfocando el informe en el engavionado de las barrancas del rio Ctalamochita a su paso por la Reserva Natural. El expositor fue el Ing. Ernesto Borrageros, secretario de Coordinación de Gabinete de la Municipalidad.
CDP brinda una plataforma global para que las ciudades midan, gestionen y divulguen sus datos ambientales. Trabaja con más de 500 ciudades para gestionar más de 2 gigatoneladas de emisiones de gas de efecto invernadero. Esto equivale a las emisiones de 582 centrales térmicas de carbón en un año. Ayuda a las ciudades a compartir las mejores prácticas y a tomar medidas para reducir su impacto.
Los cursos de CDP Education son de alcance mundial y fueron diseñado para satisfacer las necesidades de los jugadores con los que CDP trabaja: inversores, gobiernos, empresas e instituciones académicas. La propuesta es unificar información relevante y accesible en una única plataforma para una audiencia que quiera sumergirse en los problemas ambientales. Durante las clases, profundiza en teorías y ejemplos prácticos, optimización de costos, valoración de organizaciones y sensibilización sobre las relaciones con el medio ambiente. El objetivo es generar ideas e impactos positivos.
